✈️ Chase's 100K Bonus Returns, Etihad First Class, & Newark Disruptions
Hey there, miles and points enthusiasts! Welcome to another episode of Miles & Points Daily. I'm Lucas, and I've got some exciting news to share with you today that'll help you travel better and smarter.
First up, there's some fantastic news from Chase that we haven't seen in nearly four years. They've just relaunched one of their best credit card deals ever - a whopping one hundred thousand points sign-up bonus! According to View from the Wing, you can redeem these points at one point two five cents each towards travel through Chase's portal, or transfer them to airline and hotel partners. You can get this incredible offer by clicking the link in our shownotes.
In airline news, Etihad Airways is making waves by adding First Class to their Airbus A321s. They're going all out with concierge service, car service to and from the airport, and VIP escorts through the airport. It's great to see Etihad returning to the super-premium space after years of cutbacks.
Some concerning news from Newark Liberty International Airport - The Points Guy reports major disruptions due to air traffic control equipment failures and staffing shortages. United Airlines has pulled thirty-five daily trips from their schedule, so if you're traveling through Newark in the coming weeks, be sure to keep a close eye on your flight status.
For Hyatt loyalists, there's an opportunity to earn some extra points. The Points Guy reports that fifty-three new Hyatt properties are offering five hundred bonus points per night. This is a great way to boost your points balance while trying out some new properties.
Now, we've got some news for American Airlines flyers. There have been multiple reports from View from the Wing about issues with their A321T business class seats showing significant wear and tear, and some concerning incidents of passengers having their seats given away even when they arrive on time for connections. If you're flying American, make sure to keep a close eye on your connection times and maybe snap a photo of your seat condition if you're flying business class.
Before we wrap up, I've got a special offer for you. Looking for the best award flights? Use AwardTravelFinder.com to search availability across Qatar Airways, British Airways, Cathay Pacific and more. Try it for free with our link in the shownotes.
